It has been reported that former AKP deputy and former MÜSİAD president Bayram Ali Bayramoğlu has been taken into custody in Ankara by the Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau.

According to a report by T24, the Capital Markets Board (CMB) filed a criminal complaint against Bayramoğlu in January, alleging that he 'dominated the forex markets.'
In a bulletin published by the CMB on December 23, 2025, it was announced that a criminal complaint had been filed against Bayramoğlu.
Bayramoğlu was accused of "participating in the crime of unauthorized capital market activity by allowing the use of bank accounts of the company/companies for which he is an official."
Bayramoğlu was taken to Istanbul by a special team.
