Former Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman detained in drug investigation
Former Beşiktaş president and businessman Fikret Orman has been detained by teams from the Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch. It was also announced that detention orders have been issued for numerous celebrities as part of the investigation.
Former Beşiktaş president and businessman Fikret Orman has been detained by teams from the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch as part of a "drug" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities.
It was learned that detention orders were also issued for Burak Elmas, Hakan Sabancı, Hande Erçel, Güzide Duran, Didem Soydan, and Kerim Sabancı as part of the investigation.
Fenerbahçe president Sadettin Saran had also been detained as part of the drug investigation in which former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy was arrested. Saran was released under judicial control with a travel ban.
