Binici, who also served as the Mayor of Vezirköprü in the past, had been active in politics for many years.

It was learned that Binici had been hospitalized some time ago due to health issues.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED

The funeral program for Suat Binici has been announced. Binici will be laid to rest in the Yeni Mahalle Cemetery tomorrow (August 3) following the funeral prayer to be held at the Köprülü Mehmet Paşa Mosque after the afternoon prayer.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM ÖZGÜR KARABAT

CHP Deputy Chairman and Istanbul Deputy Özgür Karabat published a message of condolence on his social media account. Karabat stated, "I learned with great sadness the news of the passing of our former Samsun Deputy, our former MYK member, and the veteran Mayor of Vezirköprü, Suat Binici.

I wish God's mercy upon Suat Binici, who left a mark with his stance committed to Republican values, and I extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and all our fellow travelers."
