Former CHP Serik District Chair detained over bribery allegations
In the Serik district of Antalya, the former CHP District Chair has been detained on bribery allegations.
According to the allegations, former CHP Serik District Chair Ş.Ç., during his time in office, allegedly asked a tradesmandemanded money in exchange for resolving a matter at the Serik Municipality.
S.Ç. allegedly requested 80,000 TL from a tradesman named K.K. to facilitate atransaction at the municipality.It was claimed.
The allegation Following the allegations, former district chair Ş. Ç. and tradesman K.K. were, under the instruction of the Serik Public Prosecutor, taken into custody by the District Police Department teams.
It was learned that the two individuals taken into custody will be referred to the courthouse following police procedures at the station.
