Former Fenerbahçe national football player Ümit Özat, who announced that he voted for Azmi Karamahmutoğlu in Istanbul during the March 31 Local Elections, has joined the Victory Party.
Özat will serve as the chief advisor to Victory Party leader Ümit Özdağ.
Sharing a photo with Ümit Özat on his social media account, Özdağ stated, "Former captain of the Fenerbahçe football team, distinguished sports figure Ümit Özat, has assumed the role of chief advisor to the Victory Party chairman responsible for sports."
