It was learned that Yücel, who was detained during a police operation at his home in the morning, was taken to the İzmir Courthouse for questioning.
İzmir Bar Association President Attorney Sefa Yılmaz stated the following in a post on the social media platform X: "A detention order has been issued for our Bar Association President for the 2018-2022 term, Attorney Özkan Yücel. I invite all our colleagues to the İzmir Courthouse for solidarity" he said.
