Former judge and FETÖ fugitive sought in the gray category arrested
Former judge Yaşar Akyıldız, who had been a fugitive for 9 years and was sought in the gray category as part of the investigation into FETÖ's judicial structure, has been arrested for "membership in an armed terrorist organization."
Former judge Yaşar Akyıldız, a FETÖ fugitive sought in the gray category, has been arrested.
Following the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the police procedures for Akyıldız, who was taken into custody, have been completed.
After a health check, Akyıldız was brought to the Ankara Courthouse, where he was referred to the on-duty criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest after giving his statement to the prosecutor conducting the investigation.
Yaşar Akyıldız was arrested for the crime of "membership in an armed terrorist organization."
