It has been learned that Mehmet Eymür, the former head of the Counter-Terrorism Department who became widely known for the "Babalar Operasyonu" (Operation Fathers) reports he wrote in 1987 while serving at the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), as well as his news website, books, and public statements, has been admitted to intensive care due to respiratory failure.

MEHMET EYMÜR INTUBATED

According to a report by Mevlüt Yüksel from SuperHaber, 81-year-old Mehmet Eymür, who is being treated in the intensive care unit of a state hospital, has been intubated and is unconscious.

Eymür was the right-hand man of Hiram Abas, the Deputy Undersecretary of MIT who was killed in an armed attack on September 26, 1990.
