Former MP refutes Kılıçdaroğlu's claim that 'we would not stand up for Erdoğan': He welcomed him at the very front
Former CHP MP Melda Onur has challenged the remarks made by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as CHP Chairman following a decision of absolute nullity, during a live broadcast where he claimed, "We would not stand up for Erdoğan."
During a television program, Kılıçdaroğlu had stated, "When Erdoğan came to Parliament, CHP members would not stand up. Who said 'we will negotiate'? What is right about normalization?
You should have demanded elections immediately after becoming the leading party in the elections.
You should have demanded elections right away! I am saying this to those who manage the party. They were saying that back-door diplomacy is continuing".
A refutation of these words by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came from Melda Onur, who served as a CHP MP during his tenure.
Onur shared a page from a news report from that period, which showed that she was the only one who did not stand up to welcome him.
Onur addressed Erdoğan Aktaş, one of the moderators of the live broadcast, saying, "Could you ask why he is lying? Or does he not remember?"
