Former MÜSİAD President and AKP MP Bayram Ali Bayramoğlu arrested
Former MÜSİAD President and AKP MP Bayram Ali Bayramoğlu, who was referred to the courthouse as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been arrested by the duty magistrate on charges of 'unauthorized capital market activity'.
The investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following a criminal complaint by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) regarding allegations that certain financial services and trading companies were conducting unauthorized and leveraged trading through bank accounts in an irregular manner is ongoing.
As part of the investigation, former Rize MP and former MÜSİAD President Bayram Ali Bayramoğlu was detained in Ankara yesterday and brought to Istanbul.
Bayramoğlu was referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. After giving his statement to the prosecutor's office, Bayramoğlu was arrested by the duty magistrate on charges of 'unauthorized capital market activity'.
