After completing his attaché duty, Alper retired and has now been appointed to the position of Head of the IMM Municipal Police Department.
Metin Alper is also known as a close friend of Ünal Karaman, a former Trabzonspor player and manager who is currently an IYI Party Member of Parliament for Konya.
