Former police officer with prison sentence for FETÖ membership apprehended
In Ankara, a former police officer with a finalized 6-year, 3-month prison sentence for being a member of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) has been apprehended.
Teams from the Ankara Police Department's Organized Crime Bureau determined that former police officer Ü.Ö., who had an active arrest warrant, was hiding in the Keçiören district.
The fugitive convict, who was apprehended in an operation conducted at the identified address, was sent to prison following judicial proceedings.
