Former provincial chair reacts to CHP's party bylaws
Recep Taşel, the former CHP Eskişehir provincial chair, expressed his reaction on his social media account to the draft party bylaws distributed by the CHP.
Ahead of the upcoming party congress, the CHP distributed a draft of the party bylaws to its members of parliament for review.
Comments regarding the draft in question have begun to emerge one after another.
Among these comments, one that drew attention came from former CHP Eskişehir provincial chair Recep Taşel. Taşel claimed that the draft bylaws in question are based on protecting the existing administration and made the following comment:
The CHP established a commission and conducted a study for the bylaw amendment before the 38th Congress.
They asked for opinions from our party members, and we submitted our suggestions.
The bylaws are the constitution of the party.
Bylaws are made to advance participation and intra-party democracy.
Not to protect the administration.
