Former TRT Haber reporter and journalist Elif Akkuş has been released.
Journalist Elif Akkuş, who was unlawfully arrested on October 20 despite serious health problems while on a 112 emergency stretcher, has been released by the Ankara Duty Criminal Court of First Instance.
HER LAWYER ANNOUNCED THE RELEASE
Elif Akkuş had been arrested on the grounds of posts made on an anonymous Twitter account regarding nepotism and the misuse of public resources at TRT. Elif Akkuş has just been released from Sincan Women's Closed Prison.
