Four earthquakes in one hour in Istanbul
Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Silivri, numerous aftershocks occurred. AFAD had most recently issued a statement indicating that the aftershocks were subsiding.
According to a statement from AFAD, four earthquakes occurred in Istanbul within one hour, the largest of which was 4.3.
While experts stated that these earthquakes were aftershocks, Ahmet Ercan, who joined a live broadcast, expressed his concerns by stating that the earthquakes were on a different branch.
In Istanbul, earthquakes measuring 3.5, 4.3, 3.7, and 3.5 in magnitude occurred sequentially within one hour.
