Free public transport on April 23 published in the Official Gazette
A decision regarding free public transport services for the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day has been published in the Official Gazette.
With the decision published in the Official Gazette under the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, public transport services—including Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, the Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, the Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line, as well as public transport services operated by municipalities and their established unions, institutions, and enterprises—will be free of charge on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in observance of National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
