According to data from AFAD, a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale yesterday at 22:15. While no negative incidents were reported according to initial assessments following the tremor, which was recorded at a depth of approximately 13 kilometers, a statement regarding the earthquake came from Prof. Dr. Naci Görür.

Evaluating the earthquake, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür stated that the tremor occurred on the Küçükkuyu Fault, saying, "It was a shallow and small earthquake."
