From Antalya to the world: A passion for guitars turns into a global business
Cem Köksal is now taking the guitar production he started as a hobby to the global market. He has moved to mass production at the factory he established in Antalya.
When Cem Köksal began his professional music career years ago, he viewed guitar design merely as a hobby. However, he turned this passion into a business opportunity and established a guitar factory in Antalya. Köksal, whose factory has the capacity to produce 100 guitars per month, aims to collaborate with countries such as the USA, Japan, Italy, and Germany.
Köksal is preparing to offer his entirely domestically produced guitars to the world market. In this venture, he worked alongside his partners Bayram Tekçe and Bahtiyar Balcı, and after completing 6 years of R&D and patent processes, he established his factory under the name 'Shart Gitar' in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone. Now, they are taking steps to promote their custom-made guitars on an international scale.
