Frost warning from Meteorology for 7 provinces

The Düzce Governor's Office shared the warning from the General Directorate of Meteorology. The warning regarding frost and icing is as follows:

"According to the latest meteorological assessments,According to the latest reports, in the central and easternparts of our country, there is a significant drop in air temperaturesaccompanied by snowfall. In Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, KarabKarabük, Bolu, Çankırı and Kırıkkale provinces especially during the night and morning hoursprimarily icing and frost events are expected.The rainy weather is expected to leave the country starting from Thursdayand the airtemperature is expected to ddue to the low temperatures,local fog and mist are expected tooccur.Since the cold weather is expected to continue until the beginning ofnext week, disruptions in transportation, in particular, are including icing and frost eventsalong withreducedvisibility and avalancherisks, the General Directorate of MeteorologyhaswarnedIt is important to follow theforecasts, meteorological assessments, and early warnings issued by the institution."

The frost and icing eventis reported to be effective between 9:00 PM on December 30, 2025, and 9:00 AM on January 5, 2026.
