Fugitive FETÖ/PDY member and dismissed police officer captured after 7 years
A former police officer and member of FETÖ/PDY, who had been sought for 7 years on charges of membership in an armed terrorist organization, was captured in an operation in Ankara.
Teams from the Ankara Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch launched an operation to capture H.A., a dismissed police officer and FETÖ/PDY member codenamed "Say," who had been a fugitive for 7 years on charges of "membership in an armed terrorist organization."
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that H.A. was staying at an unregistered address in the Altındağ district.
During the operation conducted by police teams at the address, H.A. was taken into custody while hiding in a secret compartment known as a "zula" inside the house.
