Dorukhan Büyükışık, the 26-year-old son of retired Major General Ethem Büyükışık, who held significant positions in the Turkish Armed Forces, left his home on the night of May 13, 2018, to go for a hike. His lifeless body was found the next morning at the base of a retaining wall at a construction site approximately 600 meters from his home.
