Funeral arrangements for Sırrı Süreyya Önder announced
DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder has lost his 18-day battle for life. The funeral arrangements for Önder have been announced.
Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder has passed away at the hospital where he had been receiving intensive care for 18 days following a heart attack.
In a statement released by the hospital, it was stated, "Sırrı Süreyya Önder passed away at 16:10 due to multiple organ failure."
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED
Sırrı Süreyya Önder will be laid to rest in Istanbul on Sunday, May 4.
The details of the funeral program are as follows:
12:00 - Commemoration Ceremony at the AKM
The funeral prayer will be held at the Şişli Mosque following the afternoon (Asr) prayer.
Following the funeral prayer, Önder will be laid to rest at the Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
