In the investigation conducted into the Furkan Foundation in Adana, 35 people, including the foundation's leader Alparslan Kuytul and his wife Semra Kuytul, were arrested and sent to prison.

Allegations that a structure called the "Furkan Intelligence Organization (FİT)" was formed within the Furkan Foundation have emerged in the investigation file conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The file claims that individuals who wanted to leave the foundation or criticize the structure were followed.

ALLEGATION OF "COLLECTING INFORMATION REGARDING PRIVATE LIVES"

According to a report in the Türkiye newspaper, in the statement of former foundation member M.G., it was alleged that the FİT structure, which is claimed to be led by Mevlüt Kaynarpunar, collected information about the private lives of members and reported this information to Alparslan Kuytul.

The investigation file also claims that meetings in the nature of an "internal court" were held in foundation buildings regarding some members and that these individuals were interrogated in front of the community.

It was alleged that an individual named N.A. was interrogated by a committee chaired by Semra Kuytul after criticizing Alparslan Kuytul, was forced to kneel, and was subjected to violence.

"EXECUTION SQUAD" ALLEGATION

It was further claimed that a group called the "Execution Squad," which is allegedly linked to Erol Ardıç, the second-in-command of the structure, threatened people considered to be dissidents.

According to the file, it was alleged that messages such as "Your pen has been broken" were sent to some individuals, and that these people were subsequently beaten. It was also claimed that some individuals were punished with bastinado and beatings for failing to comply with the rules within the foundation.

KUYTUL COUPLE DENIED THE ACCUSATIONS

Alparslan Kuytul and Semra Kuytul did not accept the accusations in their statements. The couple argued that the people who brought forward the allegations held personal grudges against them and the community.
