Future Party MP's discomfort with Atatürk: 'We've seen this movie before'

Retired Staff Colonel Mustafa Önsel shared on his social media account the moments when lieutenants graduating from the Military Academy expressed their loyalty to Atatürk and chanted, "We are Mustafa Kemal's soldiers."

Önsel stated, "Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is reborn from his ashes every moment. It brought tears to my eyes."

Responding to Önsel on X, Future Party Denizli MP Sema Silkin Ün alluded to FETÖ-orchestrated cases like Ergenekon and Balyoz, saying, "We already loved the first season very much."

'WE ALREADY LOVED THE FIRST SEASON'

In her post, Ün said the following:

"We are officially experiencing a repeat of the year 2007. We have seen this movie before; if there are those who want to watch it again, we have no objection. We already loved the first season very much."

ENTERED PARLIAMENT FROM THE CHP LIST

Sema Silkin Ün, Future Party Deputy Chair and former chief of staff to Emine Erdoğan, was nominated as a parliamentary candidate from the CHP lists in Denizli. Ün switched to her own party after the elections.
