Access ban imposed on CHP leader Özgür Özel's boycott call
Following the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, the website created for the boycott call initiated by CHP leader Özgür Özel has been blocked by a decision of the Ankara 4th Criminal Court of Peace.
After Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was arrested and sent to Silivri Prison as part of a corruption investigation into the IMM, CHP leader Özgür Özel had called for a boycott of certain brands.

BRANDS SUBJECT TO BOYCOTT CALL WERE LISTED
Following this move by Özel, a website containing the lists of brands subject to the boycott call was established, and supporters were directed to this site.
ACCESS BAN IMPOSED
The boycott list website created by the CHP was blocked from access by the decision of the Ankara 4th Criminal Court of Peace dated March 27, 2025, and numbered 2025/4129. While users visiting the site encounter the message "This site cannot be reached," the decision in question was also published on the BTK website.
