AKP has found natural gas again... Erdoğan announced: 75 billion cubic meter discovery in the Black Sea

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made significant remarks at the opening of the Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital. Erdoğan stated that the hospital, which has a capacity of 705 beds, will make a major contribution to Istanbul's healthcare infrastructure.

We are officially opening a massive healthcare investment. Our Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital has a total of 705 beds. 657 of these beds are classified as high-quality beds. A total of 160 physicians, 75 of whom are specialists, are serving in our hospital.

Healthcare services will be provided in a total of 19 clinics at our facility, which is a training and research hospital. Our citizens will receive healthcare services in many fields at this hospital. I wish for our hospital to be beneficial to our Istanbul.

When we took on the responsibility of government in 2002, we promised to elevate our country on 4 pillars. We stated these as education, health, security, and justice. We are experiencing the joy of keeping the promises we made to our nation. Before us, health was one of the areas our nation complained about the most. I am a brother of yours who has lived through the days when finding a doctor was one struggle and obtaining medicine separately was another. Every one of my citizens knows this grievance very well. We fought hard to reform a structure where even those who entered in good health would leave as patients.

'THEY ARE COMING TO TURKEY TO RECEIVE HEALTHCARE SERVICES'

In the past, our citizens used to go abroad to receive healthcare services. Now, millions of people from abroad, and even from the world's wealthiest countries, are coming to Turkey to receive healthcare services.

Health tourism has become one of the areas where our country stands out in the world. I believe this center, where physical therapy facilities are at the highest level, will be a place where patients from many countries of the world will come. Turkey is appreciated not only for its modern healthcare infrastructure but also for having the world's most comprehensive and lowest-cost general health insurance. Everyone is within the scope of this system.

We have increased our city's bed capacity to 30,726. When we include private and university hospitals, our total bed capacity rises to 45,481. By the end of the year, we will make another 10,582 beds available to the people of Istanbul. We have 23,000 healthcare facilities with a 16,000-bed capacity. We will place these at the service of our fellow citizens in Istanbul.

In healthcare services, there were 217 health centers in Istanbul in 2002. Only 762 physicians were working. Today, we have 1,147 family health centers across Istanbul, and our number of family physicians has reached 4,264.

'WE HAVE OPENED THE DOORS TO A NEW ERA IN ENERGY'

Another topic where we have led Turkey from success to success is energy. We have made serious investments in every field. We are striving to bring out our country's true potential in this area. Despite the opposition of the fifth-column elements wearing environmentalist masks, we moved our country to a different league with the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant. Thanks to our discoveries in the Black Sea and Gabar, we have opened the doors to a new era in energy. Our discovery in the Sakarya Gas Field became a turning point.

We continued our drilling operations with determination. In addition to our own region, we have developed different collaborations abroad. We have been in an intense struggle. Currently, our drilling ships are in Somalia. We are very pleased to be reaping the fruits of this struggle.

'WE HAVE MADE A NEW NATURAL GAS DISCOVERY'

We have opened the doors to a new era in energy. We have reinforced our fleet with new ships. We have been in an intense struggle to gain our independence in energy. Currently, our ships are also drilling in Somalia. We are very pleased to be reaping the fruits of the struggle. To date, we have conducted 11 drillings in the Mediterranean and 38 in the Black Sea. The work that began at the Göktepe-3 well with the Abdulhamid Han was completed as of yesterday. We received good news yesterday. With the work carried out with great meticulousness, we have made a new natural gas discovery of 75 billion cubic meters in the field."
