For the first time, an AKP member speaks on the 'post-Erdoğan' era: There are surprise names!

A striking assessment has been made regarding the activity that has accelerated within the AKP recently. In an interview with Elips Haber TV, former AKP-affiliated writer Abdurrahman Dilipak revealed that various scenarios regarding the post-Erdoğan era are being discussed within the party.

It is noted that for President Erdoğan to be a candidate again in the 2028 elections, under the current Constitution, either Parliament must decide on early elections with at least 360 votes, or a constitutional amendment must be pursued.

Following Erdoğan's statement that he has "no concern about being a candidate," MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's remark that he "has no right to back down" had been on the agenda.

DİLİPAK'S "POST-ERDOĞAN DESIGN" CLAIM

The first open assessment regarding the "post-Erdoğan" issue, which has been a subject of debate within the party for a long time, was made by Dilipak.

Dilipak claimed that "AKP figures have entered a race to design the post-Erdoğan era," stating that four names have come to the forefront within the party: Binali Yıldırım, Süleyman Soylu, Bülent Arınç, and Abdullah Gül.

Dilipak stated that these individuals maintain contact with the party and that assessments regarding future planning are being made behind closed doors.

Reminding that Berat Albayrak's name had also been discussed in AKP corridors in the past, Dilipak conveyed that currently, questions such as "Will it be Tayyip Erdoğan's son, or will another name emerge?" are on the agenda.

Dilipak said, "If it is not going to be Tayyip Erdoğan, who will it be? This is one of the main agenda items. Everyone is trying to take a position accordingly."

"NO PLAN IS CLEAR"

Stating that these discussions within the party have not reached a clear resolution due to current political and economic conditions, Dilipak argued that the Century of Turkey policy has also not created the expected impact.

Dilipak used the expressions, "The AK Party has both become unable to produce policy and faces strong opposition to every issue it tries to bring to the forefront."

It was stated that other names discussed regarding the post-Erdoğan era are Hakan Fidan and the President's children.

Dilipak stated that no definitive scenario has been formed on this matter either, saying, "Discussions are mostly being carried out over Hakan Fidan and Erdoğan's children, but no clear solution can be put forward."
