It has emerged that Diyanet President Ali Erbaş recently made a secret visit to Norway. Erbaş, who shares photos on his social media account even while the call to prayer is being recited, did not publish a single frame from this trip. It was learned that he also gave instructions to his team to keep the trip confidential.

The detail that Erbaş, who traveled in the business class section of the plane while going to Norway, asked the flight attendant for a boiled egg also drew attention.

Erbaş also made a visit to Sweden, Norway, and Denmark in February 2024, and this trip was not announced to the public either.

According to the report by Sözcü, Ali Erbaş, who has made over 140 trips to 43 countries during his 8-year tenure, has gone down in history as the president who has made the most overseas visits in the history of the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).

Erbaş is expected to travel to Kyrgyzstan this week before his term expires. It was learned that a total of ten people, including security, a photographer, and a cameraman, will be in the delegation.
