Anadolu Agency reveals the big news: 3 projects by İmamoğlu İnşaat included in corruption file!

Detailed inspection reports prepared by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding İmamoğlu İnşaat, a company in which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner—who has been suspended from duty and arrested as part of an ongoing corruption investigation—have emerged.

According to documents obtained by Anadolu Agency, numerous zoning and construction irregularities were identified in three separate projects located in Beylikdüzü.

8 TWIN VILLAS EXAMINED

Acting upon an official complaint filed with the Provincial Directorate, technical teams conducted comprehensive inspections of 8 twin villas consisting of a total of 16 blocks. It was stated that the following primary irregularities, which are contrary to the project plans, were identified during on-site checks:

In some structures, the height applied was approximately 80 to 100 centimeters greater than in the project plans.

Roof slopes were constructed with a double-break system, which was not included in the project.

Terrace areas were enlarged, and some were incorporated into the apartments.

In some blocks, the floor height was built 50 centimeters shorter than planned.

Technical areas specified in the project in the basement floors were left completely empty.

Additional doors were opened to the terraces, connecting them to rooms and expanding the interior space.

Terraces were narrowed, and living room and kitchen areas were expanded.

These details were included in the official inspection forms prepared by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization and were added to the ongoing corruption file.
