Arrogant remarks from terrorist Murat Karayılan to the CHP! 'If they do not turn back from this mistake...'

The Republican People's Party (CHP) did not approve of its deputies going to İmralı Island to meet with the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, during a vote held in the National Brotherhood, Solidarity and Democracy Commission on November 21.

The CHP decided not to participate in the visit, which was to be made by representatives from the AKP, MHP, and DEM Party.

Reacting to this situation, the so-called leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Murat Karayılan, threatened the CHP harshly. In an interview with a media outlet close to the organization, Karayılan described the CHP's decision as a "mistake" and said that they would suffer if they did not turn back from this mistake.

Murat Karayılan criticized the CHP's decision in his interview with the following words:

"The CHP made a mistake; if they do not turn back from this mistake, they will suffer." Karayılan stated that the CHP had claimed in recent years to be a friend of the Kurdish people and had displayed an attitude suggesting it was close to a solution and democracy, but that this decision contradicted that.

Karayılan criticized the CHP's decision not to send deputies to İmralı, saying, "It wanted to be a party of Turkey, but this stance contradicts that." He stated that they viewed the CHP's attitude as an important step toward advancing the solution process and that going to İmralı Island would accelerate the process.

Terrorist Karayılan called on the CHP to reverse its decision, saying, "If the commission does not go to Leader Apo, how will this problem be solved? The commission's visit to İmralı will advance the process. Now, legal and legislative steps are needed; our movement has done everything it could. Now, we must move to the second phase."

Karayılan also made statements regarding the solution process and the PKK's stance. Stating, "Despite having the power, we dismantled the PKK for the sake of a solution," Karayılan indicated that the organization now believes legal and legislative steps must be taken for the process to move forward.
