Asked in 3 different categories: The most popular politician in Turkey has been revealed!

ORC Research has shared the results of a public opinion survey conducted with 3,500 people between May 13-16, 2025. In the face-to-face survey, participants were asked, “Who are the politicians you like the most in Turkey?” The most popular figures were determined in three categories: party leaders, mayors, and members of parliament.

The research results are as follows:

The most popular party leader was CHP leader Özgür Özel with 49.8 percent.

In second place was AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with 44.6 percent.

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ – 21.9 percent

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli – 20.4 percent

Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu received 16.6 percent approval.

New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan – 15.8 percent

Good Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu – 12.5 percent

Great Unity Party Chairman Mustafa Destici – 11.7 percent

Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu – 11.3 percent

Yerli ve Milli Party Chairman Teoman Mutlu – 10.2 percent

MOST POPULAR MAYORS

Among mayors, the highest approval rating went to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu with 53.9 percent.

İmamoğlu was followed by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş with 50.6 percent.

Fatma Şahin (Gaziantep) – 29.3 percent

Özlem Çerçioğlu (Aydın) – 27.5 percent

Tanju Özcan (Bolu) – 20.6 percent

MOST POPULAR MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT

In the members of parliament category, only CHP and AKP deputies were evaluated. In first place was CHP's Ali Mahir Başarır with 25.3 percent.

He was followed by Cemal Enginyurt with 22.9 percent.

Mustafa Sarıgül (CHP) – 15.5 percent

Ömer Çelik (AKP) – 19.8 percent
