Ayşe Barım investigation expands... Caught in bank monitoring: To whom did Barım transfer her company?

The investigation launched following the arrest of talent manager Ayşe Barım on allegations of being one of the organizers of the Gezi Park protests has deepened.

The prosecutor's office detained Barım's lawyer sister, I.S.G., and a doctor friend of hers on suspicion of attempting to tamper with evidence. The suspects were released after their statements were taken.

CAUGHT BY BANK SURVEILLANCE

According to the report by Hürriyet, I.S.G. and her doctor friend, who were under technical surveillance, went to a bank in Levent and retrieved an envelope allegedly containing money and gold from an account belonging to Barım.

It is alleged that the suspects defended themselves by saying, "We took this money and gold so that we would not face financial difficulties in the event that a trustee is appointed to our company."

ALLEGATION OF TRANSFERRING THE COMPANY TO HER SISTER

On the other hand, it is claimed that Ayşe Barım transferred ID Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi to her sister before being arrested. The details of this transfer are also being examined as part of the investigation.

The investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which accepted social media posts and news reports regarding her "causing a monopoly in the sector" as a formal complaint against Ayşe Barım, is ongoing.

MEHMET BOZDAĞ GAVE A STATEMENT

As part of the investigation, screenwriter and producer Mehmet Bozdağ gave a statement to the prosecutor's office as a "person with knowledge." Bozdağ left the courthouse after the statement process. Within the scope of the investigation, Serenay Sarıkaya and Nedim Saban had previously given statements as "witnesses," and actress Deniz Işın as a "victim."
