Berat Albayrak emerges in Bilecik

Berat Albayrak, who has remained out of the public eye since resigning from his post as Minister of Treasury and Finance, was caught on camera in Bilecik.

Albayrak visited the Sheikh Edebali Tomb in Bilecik alongside his wife, Esra Albayrak, and officials from the AKP organization.

FRIDAY PRAYERS PERFORMED AT SHEIKH EDEBALI TOMB

Following his visit, Berat Albayrak performed Friday prayers at the tomb.

After the prayers held at the tomb, Albayrak met with citizens and chatted with them. The visit was followed with interest by the people of Bilecik.

The AKP Bilecik Central Organization announced Albayrak’s visit to the tomb on their social media accounts.

The statement included the following: "Today, businessman and former Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Berat Albayrak, visited the Bilecik Sheikh Edebali Tomb and performed Friday prayers here. After the Friday prayers, which were performed in the presence of Sheikh Edebali, one of the spiritual architects of our ancient civilization, in this blessed place that is a legacy of our ancestors, Mr. Albayrak met with citizens and chatted with them. We thank Mr. Berat Albayrak for honoring us with his visit; and on this meaningful day, we pray to Almighty Allah that our unity and brotherhood may be everlasting."
