Billionaires' wealth melts away: Bad news for Elon Musk!

The world's wealthiest business people began 2024 with significant gains but faced a sharp decline in February. Tech giants, who collectively earned 314 billion dollars in January, have suffered major losses in wealth as of February.

MAJOR VOLATILITY IN THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR

The fluctuations in the technology world have negatively impacted the sector's leading billionaires. Figures such as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Larry Ellison have lost billions of dollars due to the downturn in the markets.

BAD NEWS FOR ELON MUSK

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has long topped the lists as the world's richest person. However, he experienced a serious loss of wealth in February.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, while Musk's wealth was at the 433 billion dollar level in January, it fell to 349 billion dollars by the beginning of February.

ZUCKERBERG AND ELLISON ALSO SUFFERED LOSSES

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was also among those affected by the decline in February. Zuckerberg, whose wealth reached 243 billion dollars in January, saw it drop to 232 billion dollars in February.

Oracle founder Larry Ellison suffered a 9 billion dollar loss in wealth. Ellison, whose fortune rose rapidly in January, experienced a major decline with the volatility in February.
