A decision has been reached in the diploma investigation concerning Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

The university diploma İmamoğlu received 35 years ago has been cancelled. Istanbul University decided to cancel the diplomas of 28 people who were determined to have transferred in a similar manner during the same period, in addition to İmamoğlu.

While the cancellation of İmamoğlu's diploma has drawn widespread reaction, the identities of the individuals who transferred to the university alongside İmamoğlu in 1990 have become a subject of curiosity.

According to the report on Ekol TV, the names of the 28 individuals are as follows:

Sevgi Toprak Tunga (Businessperson - daughter of Halis Toprak)

Alper Tunga (Businessperson - son-in-law of Halis Toprak)

Mehmet Timuçin Tecmen (Turcas/Shell Board Member)

Naciye Aylin Ataay (Professor at Galatasaray University, Department of Business Administration)

Mustafa Kerem Erman (Koç/Otokar Deputy General Manager)

Nur Taşkent (STFA Group Vice Chairman of the Board)

Alp Taşkent (STFA Board Member)
