The rent increase rate, which landlords and tenants follow closely every month, has been determined. Following the announcement of inflation data for July 2025 by TURKSTAT, the maximum rent increase rate to be applied for August has become clear.

Rent increases are now calculated based on the 12-month average CPI (Consumer Price Index) rate.

THE RATE WAS 43.23 PERCENT IN JULY

Last month, in July 2025, the rent increase ceiling was applied at 43.23 percent. With the slight decline in inflation, the new rate determined for August is 41.13 percent.

The calculation for the August rent increase rate is as follows:

Current Rent Amount: 10 thousand TL

Increase Rate: 41.13 percent

New Monthly Rent Amount: 14 thousand 113 TL

Current Rent Amount: 15 thousand TL

Increase Rate: 41.13 percent

New Monthly Rent Amount: 21 thousand 169 lira 50 kuruş

Current Rent Amount: 20 thousand TL

Increase Rate: 41.13 percent

New Monthly Rent Amount: 28 thousand 226 TL

Current Rent Amount: 25 thousand TL
