Brutal attack by British boxer! Taxi driver recounts the terrifying moments: 'He tried to break my neck'

The treatment of taxi driver Kadir Biçer, who was assaulted by a British national boxer he picked up from Istanbul Airport, continues at Sultangazi Haseki Training and Research Hospital.

Biçer, who was beaten severely, stated that the passenger attacked him suddenly, saying, "First he tried to bite my ear, then he wrapped his arms around my neck. He tried to break my neck and gouge out my eyes. He bit my hand and tried to kiss my ears."

Taxi driver Kadir Biçer stated that he picked up the passenger from the airport on the day of the incident and entered the address of the hotel he was going to into the navigation system, adding, "Shortly after the vehicle started moving, the person in the back seat first tried to bite my ear, then wrapped his arms around my neck. He tried to break my neck and gouge out my eyes. He bit my hand and tried to kiss my ears. He tried to stick his fingers into my mouth. I felt my life was in danger."

Explaining that he pulled the vehicle to the right and tried to get out to protect himself, Biçer stated that he jumped from the moving vehicle in a desperate bid to survive and was seriously injured. Biçer noted that he suffered fractures in his teeth and various parts of his body, adding that his health condition is serious.

Kadir Biçer stated that the suspect, who was arrested following the incident, should be tried for "attempted intentional homicide" and demanded that he receive the harshest possible punishment. The moments of the attack were also recorded by the in-car camera.
