A striking piece of footage has emerged regarding the murder of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, whose lifeless body was found in a suitcase left by the side of the road in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district.

In the chilling incident, the moment the young woman's body was placed into a vehicle along with the suitcase was recorded by a security camera. According to a report by Elif Yavuz from Habertürk, it is stated that the footage was recorded on July 11.

As part of the investigation into the incident, it was determined that the 38-year-old murder suspect, Cemil Koç, had last gone to his home in the Atakent neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. Authorities determined that Tokyaz was killed in this house, placed in the suitcase, and subsequently dumped by the side of the road in Eyüpsultan.

DISMISSED FROM THE POLICE FORCE

It was revealed that the suspect, Cemil K., had painted the house red to cover up bloodstains and then had the house cleaned. Furthermore, it was determined that the suspect, Cemil K., was dismissed from the police force in 2024 for possessing an unlicensed firearm and had a criminal record for "resisting an officer to prevent them from performing their duty," "threats," "insult," "intentional injury," and "purchasing, possessing, or using narcotic or stimulant substances."

BEATEN TO DEATH

It was learned that the funeral of university student Ayşe Tokyaz was held in Hatay after the completion of procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute. Examinations revealed that Ayşe Tokyaz was beaten to death before being placed in the suitcase and left by the side of the road.

REMAINED BY THE ROADSIDE FOR 2 DAYS

On the other hand, new details have emerged regarding the matter. It was learned that Ayşe Tokyaz and Cemil K. entered the address in Küçükçekmece on July 9 at around 19:30, and on the night of July 11 at around 01:30, Cemil K. and a friend took the suitcase containing the body outside. Cemil K. placed the suitcase filled with the body into his luxury vehicle. He and his friend dumped the suitcase by the side of the road and then fled the scene. According to allegations, the body in the suitcase was found on July 13 at around 02:00. It is estimated that the body remained in the suitcase by the side of the road for approximately 2 days.
