CHP to be awaited for Cabinet reshuffle: 'Two ministers will go'

Discussions on a Cabinet revision have gained momentum in Ankara. Following the intra-party changes made at the AKP's 8th Ordinary Grand Congress, eyes are now turned to potential changes in the Cabinet.

The claim that the revision could coincide with the date of the CHP's primary election on March 23 has stirred political corridors.

COUNTDOWN FOR CABINET RESHUFFLE

Various scenarios are being discussed in the corridors regarding how many ministers the Cabinet change will cover and who will be dismissed.

Posta columnist Murat Çelik, in his statement on Sözcü TV, said, "Following the congress in the AK Party, the change made in the administration is also expected to be reflected in the parliamentary group management and the Cabinet."

While the exact date of the Cabinet revision has not been clarified, the March 23 possibility stands out. New developments on the matter are expected in the coming days.

Çelik used the following expressions:

-It is stated that the Cabinet revision will not happen immediately. Even if there is to be a change, there is a situation where they are expected to complete two years in terms of personal rights. This possibility is mentioned a lot from Ankara.

"CABINET REVISION MAY COINCIDE WITH THOSE DATES"

-My prediction is that this could develop in parallel with the calendar of domestic politics. What do I mean? The CHP's primary election and the clarification of İmamoğlu's candidacy. İmamoğlu pressing the button and setting out... I am among those who think there is a possibility that the Cabinet revision will coincide with those dates.

-A Cabinet revision does not seem very possible in the next week or two, but we know that Tayyip Erdoğan sometimes makes surprises.

"4 OR 5 MINISTERS WILL CHANGE"

Just when it has been forgotten, appointments can be made with a change published in the Official Gazette in the middle of the night. I hear that the Cabinet revision will be limited to four or five ministers.

TWO MINISTERS EXPECTED TO CHANGE

It is stated that the Minister of Culture and Tourism and the Minister of Health will change. It is also being discussed that there is a possibility of splitting some ministries and that work is being done, which is why the Cabinet revision has not yet been implemented.
