Confession in the Serdar Öktem assassination: They revealed who gave the order for the murder

New details have emerged in the assassination investigation targeting MHP-affiliated lawyer Serdar Öktem. The statements of the 13 suspects taken into custody are ongoing as part of the investigation into the murder of Öktem, who was previously tried while in detention in the Sinan Ateş murder case.

THE ORDER CAME FROM ABROAD

According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, the suspects, who gave statements to the Istanbul Police Department's Intelligence and Organized Crime Bureau teams, confessed that the order for the attack was given by Mustafa Aktürk, the leader of the criminal organization known as the Daltonlar, from abroad.

THE PERSON WHO ORGANIZED THE ATTACK HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED

In the ongoing investigation, it was determined that the person who played a role in planning the attack was S.Ö. It was established that the suspects had monitored the area for reconnaissance purposes for three months prior to the assassination.

According to investigative sources, the attack is considered to be a retaliation for the murder of Caner Koçer, who was killed in Spain.

It is alleged that the suspects are members of the Gündoğmuş group, which acts in coordination with the Daltonlar group.

POLICE WORK CONTINUES

Police units are continuing their efforts to identify other individuals who organized the attack and were involved in the chain of command. It has been learned that the suspects' digital materials have been accessed and that individuals connected to them have been reached, expanding the scope of the investigation.
