DEM delegation had visited twice: Will Öcalan’s February 15 message be via video?

Ferhat Abdi Şahin, codenamed "Mazlum Kobani," one of the ringleaders of the terrorist organization YPG/PKK, made statements regarding the claim that PKK ringleader Abdullah Öcalan will release a message on February 15.

According to Sözcü, which cited the Italian press, Kobani suggested that Öcalan's message could be via video.

Following the call made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on October 22, a DEM Party delegation went to İmralı Prison and met with Öcalan twice.

Following these visits, the government announced that the contacts with İmralı had ended. Statements from the government side had indicated that the next step could be a "call to lay down arms."

While claims persist that Öcalan will release a message on February 15, the remarks by Mazlum Kobani, one of the ringleaders of the terrorist organization YPG, that "the message could be via video" drew attention.
