Drug test came back positive... Statement from Aleyna Tilki's lawyer: 'She caught it from the air'
Famous singer Aleyna Tilki provided hair and blood samples in a drug investigation. Tilki's lawyer, whose test result came back positive, claimed that the singer was subjected to passive exposure.
Test results for famous singer Aleyna Tilki have emerged as part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities, conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Tilki had provided hair and blood samples to the Council of Forensic Medicine to determine whether she used drugs. The test results indicated that Tilki had used cannabis.
LAWYER ISSUES STATEMENT
Aleyna Tilki's lawyer, Adem Uğur Kızıldere, issued a written statement regarding the singer's test results. Kızıldere stated, "First and foremost, it must be noted that no substances were found in my client's blood sample test."
The lawyer pointed out that the substance detected in the singer's hair sample was not a chemical substance, but rather related to smoke.
Evaluating the test results regarding Aleyna Tilki's hair, lawyer Kızıldere said, "We believe that due to my client's recent presence in a country where these substances are consumed freely, she was subjected to passive exposure through inhalation and absorption into her hair in a public space." Kızıldere argued that the singer was not intentionally affected by drug use.
Kızıldere emphasized that the legal process must be allowed to conclude and that the presumption of innocence should be respected regarding comments made in media outlets. "We kindly request that sensitivity be shown to the presumption of innocence in news reports or commentary," he said.
Meanwhile, the results for other individuals detained in the drug investigation, which also included Aleyna Tilki, came back negative. The test results for famous actress İrem Sak, social media influencer Danla Bilic (Neslihan Damla Aktepe), Eser Gökhan Küçükerol, Saim Macit, and Mehmet Güçlü were recorded as clean.
