Operations continue within the scope of the drug investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities.

As the investigation process progresses, new detentions and striking allegations are coming to the fore.

SATURDAY MORNING OPERATION

In the latest operation conducted on Saturday morning, 7 people, including actors Can Yaman and Selen Görgüzel, were detained.

Following the detention procedures, Can Yaman was released after giving his statement to the prosecutor's office.

DETENTION PERIODS EXTENDED

It has been learned that the detention periods for Ceren Alper, Selen Görgüzel, Ayşe Sağlam, and Nilüfer Batur Tokgöz have been extended by one more day within the scope of the investigation.

APPLICATION FOR EFFECTIVE REMORSE

A striking statement came from Doğukan Toktaş, the lawyer for İsmail Ahmet Akçay, the driver of fugitive Kasım Garipoğlu, who has an arrest warrant against him for allegedly organizing ‘drug and sex parties’ at his mansion in Istanbul.

Speaking to Mustafa Kadir Mercan, Toktaş announced that his client has applied to benefit from the provisions of effective remorse.

It was learned that İsmail Ahmet Akçay stated, “I have a list of 25 celebrities who attended the parties. The list in question includes many TV series actors and will be shared with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.”
