As 2025 approaches, private sector employees are thinking about the raise rates that will be applied to their salaries.
Employment platform Elemannet has shared the results of a survey it conducted to understand the business world's salary increase plans with the public.
The survey revealed employers' salary raise expectations and the support they are considering to protect their employees against inflation.
43 PERCENT OF EMPLOYERS...
According to data reported by Bloomberg HT, 43 percent of the employers participating in the survey stated that they are considering a raise above the 30 percent increase applied to the minimum wage.
To the question, "Will you give your employees a raise of more than 30 percent after the minimum wage hike?", 32 percent responded negatively, while 25 percent stated that they have not yet made a decision.
Within the scope of the survey, employers were also asked, "Will there be a second minimum wage hike in the middle of the year?" 67 percent of employers answered "No" to this possibility.
BONUSES AND ADDITIONAL SUPPORT ON THE AGENDA
One of the striking results of the survey, in which additional support aimed at protecting employees against inflation was asked, was bonuses.
While 28 percent of employers stated that they plan to give bonuses to their employees, 12 percent said they are considering offering support such as food assistance, and 5 percent mentioned rent assistance. However, a significant portion of those participating in the survey stated that they have not yet made a plan.
While the survey results show that employers are trying to shape their raise and support plans, how the alignment between these plans and employees' salary expectations will be achieved remains a matter of curiosity.
