The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced in a notification to the Unsafe Product Information System that a recall decision has been made regarding a bleach product offered for sale in chain markets.
RECALL DECISION ISSUED
While a recall decision was issued for 'AKAR' brand bleach sold in chain markets, the supply of the product in question to the market has also been banned.
NO CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE MECHANISM
According to the information note shared in the ban decision, it was learned that the product offered for sale lacks a tactile warning and a child-resistant closure mechanism.
Because the product in question does not contain any mechanism for children, it could lead to deadly consequences if not stored in high places.
