FETÖ in search of restructuring in Turkey... New instructions delivered: The organization is managed by the 'Council of the Exalted'
It has emerged that FETÖ has sent new instructions to its supporters in Turkey despite the recent increase in operations. In these instructions, delivered through fugitive journalist Ekrem Dumanlı, organization members were ordered to continue infiltrating various political and religious groups. Here are the details...
Operations targeting FETÖ's structure in Turkey have intensified recently. A total of 478 people were detained in operations carried out across 64 provinces on April 30, and May 6 and 16.
These operations have brought the organization's restructuring efforts to the agenda.
Islamist writer İsmail Nacar stated that FETÖ did not disintegrate after the death of its ringleader Fetullah Gülen and is now managed by a structure called the 'Council of the Exalted' (Yüceler Şurası).
This council is chaired by the 'Turkey Imam' Mustafa Özcan, and the organization sends new instructions through its 'media imam' Ekrem Dumanlı.
NEW INSTRUCTIONS DELIVERED
In the sent instructions, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was compared to 'Pharaoh Amenophis,' and organization members were reminded not to forget the principle that 'War is deception.'
In this context, they were ordered to position themselves within various parties and religious communities with different beliefs.
According to the report by Cumhuriyet, it was claimed that the organization gave the following orders: 'Continue the narrative within the IYI Party that the People's Alliance is negotiating with the terrorist PKK. In the DEM Party, say that the MHP is the deep state of the government and that the promises made behind closed doors during the process of a Turkey without terrorism will not be fulfilled. To the circles of Abdullah Gül (former President) and Bülent Arınç (former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey), say that they mixed the innocent with the guilty during the December 17-25 operations and that we have turned a large religious segment against us.'
