The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has announced its new management team following the appointment of trustees to Maydonoz Döner.
According to a report by Ercan Öztürk from Patronlar Kulisi, one of the notable names in the new management is lawyer Abdülkadir Koçak. In the past, Koçak had taken initiatives for the prosecution of Cem Uzan and had applied to the court requesting an arrest warrant for Uzan.
A MAJOR BLOW TO FETÖ'S FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
As part of the operations initiated in Antalya and expanded across Turkey, the financial structure of Maydonoz Döner, which was alleged to have links to FETÖ/PDY, was exposed.
According to a report prepared by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK), a large number of individuals linked to FETÖ were identified among the partners of the restaurant chain. It was determined that the vast majority of these individuals had been dismissed from public service and consisted of people specifically referred to as the "secret class."
WIDE-RANGING OPERATION CONDUCTED
A total of 372 people were detained in operations carried out across 32 provinces in Turkey. Within the scope of the investigation, 126 people were arrested, while 156 people were released under judicial control conditions. 90 of those detained were released after their procedures at the police station and the prosecutor's office.
THE NEW MANAGEMENT APPOINTED BY TMSF HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED
The members of the board of directors appointed by the TMSF have been published in the Trade Registry Gazette. The new management, established by the decision of the Antalya 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace, consists of the following names:
Chairman of the Board: Enis Güçlü Şirin
Deputy Chairman: Abdülkadir Koçak
Members of the Board: Reyhan Şenel, Nacit Hami Oktay, Nursemin Güngör, Serap Günaydın, Gülsen Altınaoy, Ertuğrul Salıcı, Sinan Aktaş, Metin Şapçı, Ercan Doğan, Emre Ertaş, Sami Erdem, Selma Yıldız, Davut Yılmaz, Sümeyye Mutlu, Murat Karakaya, and Aybike Kaynar.
This management will oversee not only Maydonoz Döner but also other stakeholder companies that have partnerships with the firm.
THE CEM UZAN DETAIL
Lawyer Abdülkadir Koçak, who was appointed as the number two name at Maydonoz Döner, is known to the public for his initiatives in the Cem Uzan case.
In 2009, Koçak applied to the court requesting an arrest warrant for Cem Uzan, seeking the issuance of a detention order on the grounds that there was a risk of flight within the scope of the cases in which Uzan was being tried. Following this initiative, it was revealed that Cem Uzan had fled abroad.
According to the Trade Registry Gazette, the capital of Maydonoz Döner was increased from 200 thousand TL to 5 million TL on August 2, 2023. The share distribution within the company is as follows:

While Maydonoz Döner, taken over by the TMSF, continues its operations under its new management, its financial relationships remain under scrutiny as part of the investigation.
