FETÖ operations against Maydonoz Döner continue: Detention warrants issued for 63 people in the 2nd wave

Within the scope of the FETÖ investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a notable operation was carried out against the Maydonoz Döner chain, which operates across Turkey. 63 people were detained in simultaneous raids conducted in 8 provinces, centered in Istanbul.

According to information included in the investigation file, it was determined that company officials provided unofficial partnerships to many individuals linked to FETÖ and employed these individuals in the branches. It is alleged that through this method, financial gain was provided to members of the organization, and psychological support was given to ensure they did not sever their ties with the organization.

MONEY TRANSFERS CAUGHT BY MASAK

In analyses conducted via MASAK reports, it was determined that money was transferred to individuals and organizations linked to FETÖ using both the company's individual and corporate bank accounts. It was stated that the majority of these individuals were soldiers, teachers, and public employees who had been dismissed from public service via statutory decrees (KHK).

Within the framework of the investigation, 74 Maydonoz Döner branches were examined one by one. It was revealed that 29 of these branches unofficially employed individuals who had no Social Security Institution (SGK) records and no official partnership information, and that these individuals had been the subject of past FETÖ investigations.

Simultaneous operations were launched this morning in a total of 8 provinces, primarily in Istanbul. 63 people, including company executives and some branch owners, were detained. The interrogation of the suspects continues at the Istanbul Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch.
