A forest fire that broke out yesterday morning in a wooded area near the village of Büyükanafarta, located in the historic Gallipoli Peninsula district, was responded to by numerous teams from both the air and the ground.
In the fire that affected Conkbayırı, Anzac Cove, and the Arıburnu Plain, where the Gallipoli Campaign took place, one of the cemeteries belonging to foreigners located in the Anzac Cove area was also damaged by the fire.
Meanwhile, the latest situation in the fire, which has been ongoing for approximately 21 hours, was captured by drone from the air.
