The anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes is approaching. The media is working hard to prepare. Politicians are explaining what they have done and what they will do, and earthquake survivors are saying what is missing. Optimism and pessimism have taken over. My dear nation, even if everything were done and completed with today's mindset, the EARTHQUAKE PROBLEM will not end. This problem can only be solved by changing our mindset. I ask you. Won't there be earthquakes here again tomorrow? Won't they happen in other places? Earthquakes will repeat forever. Maybe we won't be here at that time, but won't our children and our generations be here? Won't they suffer the same pain? Are we just going to keep passing all the pain and deaths on to each other? We can only get rid of this problem by creating earthquake-resistant cities. That is how modern earthquake-prone countries are. While we sacrifice thousands of our people in earthquakes, only a few people die there by chance. An earthquake-resistant city is a city that survives major earthquakes with minimum damage. If we make city management, the public, infrastructure, building stock, ecosystem/environment, and the economy earthquake-resistant using education, science, and today's technologies, we will largely get rid of this trouble.
